About Lamplighter Outfitting

As an outdoorsman and hunter I am fortunate to be able to share my experience and passion with you. Since 2000 I have hunted the Porcupine Provincial forest and have personally used the services of fellow outfitters. I have integrated these experiences and insights into our operation. Lamplighter outfitting has a lease on 140 square miles within the Porcupine Provincial forest, some of the most productive whitetail deer country in our province. While we have 40 deer tags we have chosen to focus on quality. We are currently limiting our whitetail hunts to 25 per year. This combined with our limit of 4 guests per week allows us to offer a personalized hunt with improved opportunity to harvest a trophy animal. While the number of guest may change in the future we will remain committed to managing the area in the best interest of our guests.

Since acquiring the business in 2013 we have invested in quality accommodations, reliable transportation while hunting and comfortable heated blinds for our deer hunters. Our guides are experienced, knowledgeable and committed to delivering a quality hunting experience.

The lodge is located on the shores of beautiful Eldridge Lake where you will enjoy all of the modern conveniences including cellphone booster and satellite TV, with the wilderness just outside your door.
